Lab 7, Experiment 1. 330 Ω Resistors
Lab 7, Experiment 2. Light Bulb
Slope of ΔV vs. I graph:
What was the average resistance of a 330 Ω resistor? Don't forget units and the standard deviation! (Why have we used standard deviation, rather than standard error, here?) These resistors are sold as 330 Ω ± 5% — are the manufacturer's claims valid?
What was the average offset (y-intercept) for your resistor measurements? Compare this to the value predicted by theory—do they agree? If they do not agree, what systematic errors might have caused the observed difference?
What does the slope of the ΔV vs. I graph for your light bulb represent? Why?
